Duran Audio featured a demo room this year, showing their self powered, DSP based, RS-485 controlled speaker systems.

Fulcrum Acoustic continued their constant march of new products.

Fulcrum Acoustic has released products and filled the TQ Install and Prophile lines so both now range from single 8" up to double 15" systems.  The Prophile series also has the high SPL XL and XLS 2 x 12" and 4" driver horn loaded systems.  Of course, don't forget their 2 x 21" US221 sub...

Peavey's Architectural Acoustics division will be relasing three new Digitools, an 8x8, an 16x16, and an 8x8 model with XLR i/o.  Front panel leds and mutes, USB, ethernet, etc.  It will now be a device in NWare...

Peavey's MediaMatrix division will be relasing a new NION, the Ne. This unit will allow a lower cost entry into the NION line, while maintaining the quality we all expect.

At Champion, we believe that a rep firm should be a strong partner with our customers, always willing to help with any matter regarding our manufacturers and their equipment.  You build systems, and systems are much more than the sum of the parts.

Greg Longtin, the principal at Champion, started in the mid 80's in the engineering department of a contractor, working on recording studios, legitimate theatres, and high end corporate rooms.  He designed many controls systems, back when they were comprised of ttl, cmos, opto's, and other components.  He was involved in several systems designed by national consultants.

After that, he worked as a TD with a production company, designing large scale concert sound and lighting systems.  He also spent plenty of time behind consoles as a house or monitor engineer.  His technical background comes from studying at the U of Minnesota in computer science, then electrical engineering in the late 70's.

We understand systems from top to bottom, and large to small.

www.BagEnd.com

Bag End manufactures a wide range of speaker systems, ranging from home theatre, MI, studio, up to auditorium and cinema systems.

Almost all full range systems use Time-Align™ technology resulting in a very phase coherent response.

Subwoofer systems range from a single 10" driver up to the Bassault system with four 21' drivers and response to below 20 Hz.

Many full range systems also employ co-axial drivers.

Most recently, Bag End has released the E-Trap, a tunable active bass trap for critical listening and recording rooms.

www.beyerdynamic-usa.com/en/conference-presentation

beyerdynamic conferencing products encompass both wired and wireless systems.  All systems are digital, with the wired having three product groups, and the wireless having two.

In addition to standard gooseneck microphones, they recently introduced the Revoluto line of conferencing stations, which, by using an array of specifically calibrated recording capsules and digital signal processing, creates an optimum pattern for voice pickup, and allows in table or very low profile units.

Combine these features with options of voting, pc control, logging and recording, camera control, and translation, and the beyerdynamic line of conferencing products will meet almost any need.

Please contact us if you would like to arrange a demo.

www.CrestAudio.com

Many people remember the Crest 8001 amplifier.  It was the touring 'goto' amp for many production companies.  Then, Crest was known for excellent analog circuit design and exceptional durability.

Peavey acquired Crest in 1998, and since then, has maintained the signal quality and durability, and additionally, updated the manufacturing processes for better value.  In the future, look for more DSP and digital interconnectivity from the Crest line.

Crest produces many amplifiers, including new four and eight channel units.  From the Gamble heritage, consoles/mixers from rack mount through 64 input frames are available.  Lastly, the NexSys line of DSP, control, and CobraNet modules.

At present, most Crest sales are foreign, which speaks more to the products value, as opposed to their domestic marketing budget.

Finally, Crest's five year warranty shows their commitment to durability which exceeds the industry standard three year warranty.

http://www.Duran-Audio.com

Duran Audio produces a full line of speaker systems.  In North America, they are known for the Intellivox line of steerable, digitally controlled line arrays, which they first started producing in 1994.

Models range from 115cm (3.5') to 493 cm (16.2'), with eight to sixteen channels of DSP and amplification.  The apparent line array length varies with frequency, which results in a more consistent polar response. Please see their web site for complete information.

Also available from Duran Audio is their DDA electro-acoustic prediction software, a 3D package which works with their speakers.

The Louvre, JFK Airport, Grand Central Station, and London's St Paul Cathedral have all installed Duran products.

For any facility needing controlled voice amplification, the Intellivox speakers are the best choice.  In highly reverberant spaces, Intellivox is the only choice.

In North America, Duran products are distributed by Performance Devices.

www.EZDupe.com

EZ Dupe develops, engineers, & manufactures duplication systems.  Their systems support target formats of CD, DVD, & Blu-ray disks, and USB, SD, & CF flash memory.

Chassis are available from single target up to large scale, in standalone and rack mount formats.  Several of their products are available in 'retail display' packaging.

EZ Dupe recently released the Disk-Lok series, which produces copy-protected disks.  This series also features SATA drives.

All of their products are manufactured in their City of Industry, CA and New Jersey facilities. Many products have three or four year parts and labor warranties.

www.Fulcrum-Acoustic.com

Founded in 2008, Fulcrum Acoustic seeks to advance the state-of-the-art for the professional sound reinforcement market.

Fulcrum Acoustic's principals have effected change and innovation for a variety of professional sound companies, including Electro-Voice (EV) and Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW).  We expect them to do the same in their new venture.

Their full range loudspeakers represent a modern, digital-signal-processing-aware update to the traditional coaxial loudspeaker concept.  The well-known benefits of the coaxial approach have been realized without the familiar shortcomings of historical designs. Temporal Equalization™ (TQ™) digital signal processing techniques eliminate midrange colorations and high frequency harshness while producing a smooth, seamless coverage pattern through the crossover range.

www.Innovason.com

Innovason is a fifteen year old company producing digital mix consoles.  They recently announced their Eclipse console, a new live console system.

The Eclipse supports analog, EtherSound, AVIOM, 64 track recording, and plug-ins from VB-Audio.

Innovason has always designed consoles with audio quality and UI efficiency as the main criteria.  Their consoles may not have that 'Star Wars' look, but their sound is the equal of any console available.

www.KaltmanCreationsLLC.com

Kaltman markets affordable RF spectrum analyzers and antennas.  They are the North American distributor for Aaronia, a line of handheld analyzers ranging from 1Hz to up to 7GHz.

For wireless microphone and IEM applications, their Invisible Waves PC based RF analyzer is a great tool.  Winning a Pro Audio Review Hot Gear award at InfoComm 2008, the system software will offer automatic charting of open white space (open RF frequency) for use with wireless microphones, in-ear monitors, remote control, security, access control, etc.

MediaMatrix.Peavey.com

The MediaMatrix line of audio DSP tools includes processing units, Cobranet I/O units, controls and software.  Many consider it to be the most flexible and mature DSP system available.

MediaMatrix systems are in use in the largest airports, arenas, convention centers, amusement parks, and other facilities.

Conversely, their products are often the best choice for small systems due to their sound quality and the breadth of DSP available.  Also, 96kHz sampling is supported in all Nion units.

Whether used in large paging systems, life safety announce, or complex audio systems, MediaMatrix is the most flexible and powerful DSP platform available.
